Operating excellence and outstanding employees secured the clients’ trust and led them to the top
Over a thousand permanent clients,
three Bisnode and three ISO certificates
are evidence of INTERPRETA’s business excellence.
One of the leaders in the field of translation and certified translation in Croatia is the INTERPRETA agency, founded in 2007, with seat in Vukovarska ulica, Zagreb. The forerunner of the Croatian agency was established back in 1995 in Hungary where they were oriented towards cooperation with state institutions during the conclusion of international agreements, after which Interpreta’s founder and director Hedi Varady replaced her Hungarian address with a Canadian one. Seven years later, she returned to Croatia, where her business empire is now characterised by successful cooperation with over 1000 permanent and satisfied clients with continuous annual growth. Varady revealed more on her professional path for Poslovni dnevnik, as well as the key to ten years of successful business, as well as how the agency copes with market challenges and what are the characteristics of the entrepreneurial climate in which it operates.
“My wish was to transform my work experience gained in a number of countries and on different continents into a translation agency in Croatia. 17 years of work resulted in the establishment of INTERPRETA in Zagreb in 2007. INTERPRETA initially provided court interpreter services for English and Hungarian, but as the demand and the number of satisfied clients increased over time, we expanded our services to other European and world languages. Today, the list of languages we often translate includes Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Farsi and even Hebrew. We have established quality cooperation with native speakers from around the world and built up a large base of loyal clients based on quality and trust”, the owner Hedi Varady revealed for Poslovni dnevnik.
Operating excellence in every aspect of business and outstanding professionals ensured the trust of numerous clients and led them to the top, among the 0.4 percent of the most successful businesses in Croatia, which they also consider their greatest success and the crown of the business, added the founder Varady. She emphasised the passion and dedication to work, as well as professional staff and the quality of services rendered as the main trump card, adding that if the business strives for excellence, investment into employee education and their own growth should be continuous, and when it comes to success, the bar should always be set higher than the one set by the competition.
“Our employees are the holders of all our knowledge and experience and we therefore consider them the greatest value of our business and the strongest competitive advantage. We employ top experts in their field and we constantly invest in the further development of employees. The knowledge is the key to success, but also the path to a satisfied client," continued Varady.
More than a thousand permanent clients, three Bisnode and three ISO certificates are evidence of INTERPRETA’s business excellence. The credit rating certificate they hold is also a confirmation of many years of systematic and quality work, which places them at the very top of the domestic economy, they say, but at the same time side by side with companies from the European Union since the same criteria for the Bisnode certificate apply throughout Europe. INTERPRETA has also been the winner of the AAA credit rating certificate for three consecutive years, resulting in a gold certificate for 2016.
“This is the success of our entire team and also a great incentive for further work. In addition, we are pleased that we can provide our clients and associates with an additional guarantee for the reliability of our business in order for them to contact us without hesitation," said Varady.
At the end of the interview, she commented on the Croatian business climate, which, in relation to the situation in Western countries, she considers to be made much more difficult by the state bureaucracy. “In Canada, for example, you can open and close a company in an hour, while in Croatia, we can only dream of such promptness," concluded our speaker.
