Proofreading, editing, redacting and desktop publishing

PROOFREADING  is a very detailed and comprehensive process of adapting the text to the grammar and spelling norms of the standard language. Proofreading also includes adjusting the text phrases and raises the text to a higher language level in accordance with the language standard and recommendations of the relevant language institutions. Each certified translation, as well as a non-certified translation, must go through the proofreading process.

EDITING  is the process of checking and removing spelling, punctuation, typographical and other errors that occurred when writing the text.

REDACTING  is the final stage of text processing, in which the terminology is checked in accordance with the expert terminology, i.e. the terms within the document are harmonised. There are two types of redacting: minimal and full redacting. Minimal redacting means entering as  little changes as possible, that is, only those changes that are necessary for understanding of the text are entered, while the stylistic changes are neglected. Full redacting includes all changes that are made in minimal redacting and stylistic changes.

With each ordered non-certified and certified translation, editing, proofreading and redacting of the text are FREE.
